2 rounds of Radical Yiddish games with 3 options each round – one game mostly in English, another in a mix of Yiddish and English (with all Yiddish translated and transliterated) and another game fully in Yiddish. The English game will be in the main room with Zoom auto-captions. Between rounds you’re invited to strut your stuff on the virtual Ketsvegl (Catwalk/Catroll) to show off your Radical Yiddish Costume!!
SORKE will lead two English games:
1. Radical Yiddish Jeopardy – Trivia questions across a swath of radical Yiddishkayt!
2. Ver Bin Ikh? (Who am I?) – We’ll take turns being given and trying to guess the identity of a radical Yiddish organizer, writer, or artist.
AVI will lead a randomized series of Beginners’ Yiddish activities:
1. Yiddish Wisdom Generator,
2. Educational Trivia,
3. “What Doesn’t Make Sense Here?”, and more!
ZIP will lead Yiddish Cards For Humanity
(Yiddish in transliteration).
TAMARE will lead two advanced Yiddish games:
1. Find the missing words in a proverb.
2. Write a story as a group when you only know one word.
Between rounds you’re invited to strut your stuff on the virtual Ketsvegl (Catwalk/Catroll) to show off your Radical Yiddish Costume – Dress your Rad-est!
